Kepemimpinan Persahabatan bagi Generasi Z Berdasarkan Perspektif Yohanes 15:14-17
Abstract
This research aims to develop a model of friendship leadership that focuses not only on authority, but also on personal relationships and active engagement between leaders and followers based on John 15:14-17. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with analysis of the biblical text in Greek and theological commentary, focusing on the historical, linguistic, and theological context of John 15:14-17 to explore the implications of the value of friendship for Gen Z church leadership. The discussion of John 15:14-17 emphasizes that friendship with Jesus is active through obedience, involves transformation from servant to friend with access to the divine plan, entails responsibility to bear fruit, and is characterized by effective love and prayer in line with Christ's will. This research contributes to theological development by emphasizing the importance of relational aspects in ecclesial leadership, particularly through the concept of friendship based on love and sacrifice, which is relevant to creating authentic and inclusive relationships, especially for Generation Z.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model kepemimpinan persahabatan yang tidak hanya berfokus pada otoritas, tetapi juga pada hubungan personal dan keterlibatan aktif antara pemimpin dan pengikut yang didasarkan pada Yohanes 15:14-17. Metode yang digunakan dalampenelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan analisis teks Alkitab dalam bahasa Yunani dan komentar teologis, berfokus pada konteks historis, linguistik, dan teologis Yohanes 15:14-17 untuk mengeksplorasi implikasi nilai persahabatan bagi kepemimpinan gerejawi Gen Z. Hasil pembahasan Yohanes 15:14-17 menekankan bahwa persahabatan dengan Yesus bersifat aktif melalui ketaatan, melibatkan transformasi dari hamba menjadi sahabat dengan akses pada rencana ilahi, mengandung tanggung jawab untuk berbuah, dan ditandai oleh kasih serta doa yang efektif selaras dengan kehendak Kristus. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan teologi dengan menekankan pentingnya aspek relasional dalam kepemimpinan gerejawi, khususnya melalui konsep persahabatan berlandaskan kasih dan pengorbanan, yang relevan untuk menciptakan hubungan autentik dan inklusif, terutama bagi Generasi Z.
